Social Media Management Fellowship

What You’ll Be Doing:

La Brega y Fuerza Fund is seeking organized, energetic, and passionate individuals to be Fellows to engage in relational work. Fellows will support the La Brega team with rolling out their social media presence, including maintaining and following a social media content calendar of timely and evergreen content.

Fellows should be able to design and implement social media posts, across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tik Tok. Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus. Fellows should be comfortable in front of a camera. Fellows will be encouraged to think outside of the box in terms of creating content that boosts engagement and our message online, coordinating the production process themselves.

Who You Are:

Self-starters – you will be learning on the job. We are fast-paced and want to work with other determined self-starters.

Flexible workers – politics is not 9-5. You may need to work flexible hours. You can commit up to 20 hours per week for this fellowship.
Experience with video creation, graphic design, and digital communication.

Classification & Salary: This is a part-time, paid fellowship with an expected 20 hour per week commitment. Fellows will be paid $20/hour.

Who We Are

La Brega y Fuerza Fund was created to build a grassroots foundation to organize, educate, and activate the Puerto Rican diaspora communities across the United States on issues of importance to Puerto Rico. Our bottom line is to create a robust pipeline of activists to engage on issues of importance to Puerto Rico, targeting states that have large diaspora populations. What You’ll Be Doing 

La Brega y Fuerza Fund is seeking organized, energetic, and passionate individuals to be Fellows to engage in relational work.

  • Fellows will support the Project Manager in all organizing efforts while developing skills and knowledge in direct voter contact, digital organizing, relational organizing, data, and volunteer recruitment and management. 
  • Fellows should be able to creatively use different methods of outreach and engagement, including, but not limited to, social media, Whatsapp, and in-person connections.
  • Fellows will also be tasked with digital work such as creating social media content (short and long form videos, posts, tweets etc) and content creators to boost our message online.
